Ingredients:
4 teaspoon(s) sugar - optional
8 corn cobs - husks and silks removed
4 tablespoon(s) butter - divided
1 pinch salt and pepper - to taste
Steps:
-Bring 4 qts. of water (with the sugar if desired) to a boil in a a large pot.
-Add the corn, return to a boil, and cook until tender, about 6 minutes.
-Remove the corn from the water using tongs, allowing any excess water to drip back into the pot.
-Serve with butter, salt and pepper.
